What I know about the 18th century

The English Restoration Period began with the restoration of Charles the 2nd to the english throne. England once was again back to monarchy. Many Europeans were moving to American and the colonies rebelled against Britain. The French Revolution was also taking place in France and the first form of democracy was formed with the end of French monarchy after the execution of Louis 16th and his wife- Marie Antoinette. There was also the Enlightenment period. People were less superstitious and instead focused on things that they viewed as rational. They strived to enlighten themselves. Religion was no longer the most imoprtant thing that mattered, and athiests and Deists emerged. There was also a strong focus on science and a new way of organizing the social and political structure.
