The Black Death

        The Black Death is the other name of the Plague, a disease that spread throughout Europe and caused millions of deaths. There's also different names for different Plagues, for example the Bubonic Plague. I think the Black Death is a pandemic and during that period human population was quickly decreased. I think the disease spread around by fleas and there were no cure for the Plague (although now we do). It's kind of like the bird flu or SARS in the present time. Like SARS, the plague is a widespread disease and it has a carrier--the flea. As for the details, I will need to read further about the disease. That's pretty much all I know of the plague.
